nursery bedding

Well we've had a lot of friends & family ask about our nursery "theme" lately!  Although we aren't quite "theme" people we do have kind of a color scheme I guess.  I didn't want it to look like your typical nursery and I wanted to go for something clean and fresh.  We painted the walls gray and have primarily white furniture with a few antique pieces.  We are far from finished but have been very blessed throughout the whole process.  We have bought all of our furniture used and have gotten great deals on everything!  We're having the bumpers and crib skirts made in white Egyptian cotton and they should be mailed next week!  I wanted the quilts to be the splash of color in the room.  I tried to stick with primarily vintage fabrics that resembled the 1930's.  I was going to work on them myself until my dear friend, Mindy, offered to do it for us!  She is also expecting twins but her "quilt making" rate is quite quicker than mine!  I have posted a few pictures below of the nursery so far and of the fabrics I selected for their quilts.  I can't wait until it all comes together!  I will be taking more photos soon with the chair, mattresses and nightstand!!
