The Big Day

Presley has had a great day so far! She got a lot of sleep last night & was allowed to eat until 5 am. She woke up for us to eat with very little struggle & has been great about showing hunger cues. Since 5 am, she is quite the hungry baby girl & has been taking her pacifier throughout her stay here. This is a VERY big deal. She has such a sensitive gag reflux that she will usually gag or throw up when using a pacifier. She has associated it with discomfort & therefore would rarely take it.

She had quite a bit of blood taken this morning & there was a mix-up with how they wanted the blood drawn. This caused her to have more taken than necessary, which didn't make for a happy baby or happy parents. I had a hard time so I took a walk to Starbucks & Dad was the strong parent!

She's excited because she's going to have some fun visitors today! Her Grammy & Uncle Dusty are driving up to see her as her daily visitors, Cullen, Papa Joe & "DDOllieGrandma"!
